Janet Marie Berkey "Bosse", 96, of Goshen, died Monday morning, March 25, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

She was born January 26, 1917 in Goshen to Dallas G. and Emma (Rummel) Blue.

She married Wilbur H. Berkey July 30, 1939 at Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen. He died September 14, 1980. She then married Robert E. Bosse December 27, 1997. He died November 20, 2012.

Janet is survived by two sons, Stephen H. (Arlene) Berkey of Thompson's Station, Tennessee, and James W. (Marilyn) Berkey of Austin, Texas; a step-daughter, Diana (Thomas) Pinkerman of Goshen; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A lifetime Goshen resident she worked at Salem Bank for 19 years, beginning as a teller and later in the Loan and Insurance Department until her retirement in 1958.

A 1935 graduate of Goshen High School, she was a longtime member of Plymouth United Church of Christ where she was a faithful member of the choir.
