Mrs. Susie Dever Bennett, 55, if Washington D.C., died at 5 am Thursday at the home of her sister and brother, Miss Hattie and Chester Dever, 229 Buffalo Street, following a two weeks' illness of heart trouble. She came for a visit about 3 months ago. She was born in Franklin July 8, 1880, daughter of George M. and Sarah Graham Dever. She lived in Washington (DC) the past 10 years.
Surviving are her husband, E. M. Bennett of Washington, DC; two sisters, Miss Hattie Dever of Franklin, and Mrs. Anna Cutchall of Meadville; two brothers, Earl of Ashland, OH, and Cherster, Franklin.
Services will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Dever home with Rev. B. E. Coleman officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
