Mrs. Sullivan rites will be Wednesday
Mrs. Mabel A. Sullivan, 75, died Sunday morning Aug. 30, 1981 at her home 605 West Street. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
She was born in Page County, near Shenandoah. She attended and graduated from the Shenandoah High School in the
Class 1933.
For a number of years she was personnel director at a private college in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Retiring in 1971 she returned to Shenandoah to make her home.
Mabel was a member, of the Congregational United Church of Christ, study Club and the Shenandoah Civic Music Association.
Preceding her in death were her parents and four brothers.
Surviving is on brother, Harold Nelson of Shenandoah, two sisters; Mrs. Agnes Ransom of Albuquerque, and Mrs.
Paul (Ella) Zimmerman of Los Angeles, Calif. and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held from the Hackett Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ed. D. Cox will officiate and interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
A memorial is being established to the Congregational Church Women's Fellowship and the Shenandoah Public Library and memorials may be left with Mrs. Dorothy Lumry.hhw
