Mr. Peroutka was born November 17, 1899 at Francis Creek, son of the late Wenzel and Barbara Cherney Peroutka. He married Camilla Hoffman, November 23, 1927 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. In his early years he was engaged in farming and also did construction work and custom butchering.
Survivors include his wife, Camilla; five grandsons and their wives, David and Susan Hassemer, Mark and Mary Hassemer, Paul and Virginia Hassemer, Frank Hassemer, John and Peggy Hassemer, all of Francis Creek; a granddaughter, Mary Kocian of Port Washington; 11 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Harold Hassemer of Francis Creek; two sisters-in-law, Mayme Peroutka and Mabel Peroutka both of Francis Creek. He was preceded in death by a daughter, LaVern Hassemer, three brothers, Anton, Louis and John, a sister, Della Pech and a grandson, Dennis. Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, 4 pm to 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday until the time of services. A prayer service will be 7:30 pm Wednesday by Father Schneider.
