Frank Peroutka, 87, of Francis Creek (Route 2, Manitowoc), died Sunday evening, August 23, 1987 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, as a result of an automobile accident in Kewaunee County. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10:30 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate at the Mass of Resurrection and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Peroutka was born November 17, 1899 at Francis Creek, son of the late Wenzel and Barbara Cherney Peroutka. He married Camilla Hoffman, November 23, 1927 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. In his early years he was engaged in farming and also did construction work and custom butchering.
Survivors include his wife, Camilla; five grandsons and their wives, David and Susan Hassemer, Mark and Mary Hassemer, Paul and Virginia Hassemer, Frank Hassemer, John and Peggy Hassemer, all of Francis Creek; a granddaughter, Mary Kocian of Port Washington; 11 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Harold Hassemer of Francis Creek; two sisters-in-law, Mayme Peroutka and Mabel Peroutka both of Francis Creek. He was preceded in death by a daughter, LaVern Hassemer, three brothers, Anton, Louis and John, a sister, Della Pech and a grandson, Dennis. Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, 4 pm to 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday until the time of services. A prayer service will be 7:30 pm Wednesday by Father Schneider.
