Mrs. Louise S. Valachovic
Mrs. Louise S. Valachovic, 70, of 106 Pleasant Avenue died at 8:30 this morning at the Johnstown Hospital where she was admitted last night after being stricken while working at the Gates-Mills Glove Company.
Born Sept. 17, 1897 at Glen Union, Pa., daughter of Paul and Helen (Masaryk) Hladik, she had lived in Johnstown for the last 60 years, and was employed by the Gates-Mills firm a number of years. Mrs. Valachovic was a member of St. Anthony's Church and the Zivena Society.
Survivors are her husband, Anthony F. Valachovic; two daughters, Mrs. Mark Cominole of Gloversville and Mrs. William Carpenter of Scotia; a son, Paul T. Valachovic of Johnstown; 11 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
