Donald H Olmstead dies at 67
At his request, there will be no services for Donald H Olmstead, 67, a former International Business Machines Consultant. He died Friday after a stroke. Burial will be in Altadena, California.
Mr. Olmstead was the son of the late Army Maj. Gen. Dawson Olmstead, chief of the Army Signal Corps form 1941-1943. General Olmstead died in Bellevue in 1965.
Mr. Olmstead was born in Washington, D.C., and graduated from American University there. He had a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University.
Mr. Olmstead was a retired lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve.
He is survived by two sisters.
