Bethany D. Holbrook, age 71, of Kitts Hill, OH, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. The Ashland, KY native was born December 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Albert and Louise Fain Arthur.

She is survived by
her husband of 52 years, Dallas E. Holbrook;
four sisters, Lorraine Patrick of Franklin Furnace, OH, Gereline Riffitt of Wheelersburg, OH, Wilma (Bill) Castle of Ashland, KY and Daphne (Tim Holbrook) Gentry of Kitts Hill, OH;
a brother, Tony (Darlene) Arthur of Ashland, K;
a sister-in-law, Sharon Howard of Gallipolis, OH;
multiple nieces and nephews.

She attended Paul Blazer High School in Ashland, KY, was a homemaker and attended Sheridan Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to be with and take care of her family and was always there for them.

She was also preceded in death by
two sisters, Doris Blanton and Faye Holbrook;
a brother, Harold Arthur;
a sister-in-law, Patricia Galyen;
three brothers-in-law, John Patrick, Jack Gentry and Richard Riffitt.

Funeral service at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, OH with the Rev. Randy Patrick officiating. Burial in Haverhill Cemetery.
