William Morrison, son of John Morrison and Mary Ann Teare. John was a farmer on the Isle of Man, who brought his family to Brooklyn, New York and then moved to Ontario, Canada some years later. William, his brothers Thomas and John and sister Mary Ann chose to stay in the US, spending the rest of their lives in the Newark, New Jersey area. William was a Teamster who made deliveries for his brother Thomas's Lime Kiln business. He married Mary Elizabeth Hadfield in 1872. Their children are Mary Harriet 1874, Annie Elizabeth 1877, William Hadfield 1878, Harry Victor 1880, Jennie May 1883 and Thomas 1885. A family man, 51 years of age was not enough time for him to raise his children, but he cared enough to provide for them.
