Services for Dorothy Jean Cheak Addison, 75 yrs., of Frankfort, were conducted from Harrod Brothers Funeral Home Friday, August 7, 2009. Rev. Gene Roberts officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford Co. She died Monday, August 3, 2009 at her residence following an illness.

A native of Franklin Co., she was born, July 24, 1934 and was a homemaker and a member of the Open Bible Church.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Wayne (Kristi) Couch, Louisville, John Wayne Couch, Brenda Smith, Judy (Jerry) Dean, Donna Douglas and Rosa Barnard, all of Frankfort; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven, great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was the widow of Donald Addison and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mamie Irene Wilson Cheak. Mrs. Addison was also preceded in death by her daughters, Della and Wanda Couch, and her brother, James Cheak.

Pallbearers were Mike May, Jeffery Dean, Donald Dean, Steve Humes, Chris Beagle and Timothy Wayne Couch.
