--After months of long suffering with pulmonary tuberculosis, Mrs. Amanda J. Potter, wife of James C. Potter, passed out of this life at the family home, north of town, Monday night at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 20 days. The deceased was born near Medaryville on February 12, 1844 and was united in marriage to Mr. Potter something like 35 years ago. She is survived by her husband, four stepchildren, Mrs. George Robbins of Knox, Mrs. Charles Peelle of Chicago, and Jerry and Charles Potter of Kansas City, Mo., one brother, Alvin Ellis of Irwin, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. J. C. Hatter of north of Knox. The funeral will be conducted from the home tomorrow forenoon and interment will be made in the North Judson cemetery.

--Mrs. Jas. Potter of North of Knox, whose death was mentioned last week, was buried here in the North Judson cemetery Thursday afternoon. About 25 relatives and friends accompanied the remains here for interment.
