Mrs Rosie Lee Davis, 91, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Jefferson Hospital. Mrs Davis was born December 16, 1923 in Moscow, Arkansas, to Cassie and Grace Lawrence. She was a homemaker.

Rosie confessed her hope in Christ at an early age, uniting with Highland MBC in 1949, later joining Breath of Life Church in 1992. Rosie was united in Holy matrimony to Walter Davis in 1940 and this union was blessed with 14 children.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and five children, Ethel, Patricia, Melvin, Elmer Lee and Alonzo.

Survivors include: Three sons, Walter Davis Sr, of Pine Bluff, Charles Davis Sr Of Las Vegas, Nevada, Harold Willis Davis Sr of Pine Bluff; six daughters, Grace Mae King of White Hall, Freddie B Sheard of York Town, Ruth Lee of White Hall, Emmer Jean Sneed of Tucson, Arizona, Rosemary White and Jeanette James both of Pine Bluff, one brother in law, Mack McBride of Pine Bluff, one sister in law, Clotel McBride of Houston, Texas, 42 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 08, 2015 at Breath of Life Church with Pastor Kerry Price officiating. Interment will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Family will be at 1413 South Peach Street, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, 71603

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, at Brown Funeral Home.

Her body will lie in state Thursday, 10:15 a.m. until service.
