~0bit~George Schuch, a resident of the Alburnett vicinity for sixty nine years, passed away early Monday morning, February 6, 1961, in a Marion nursing home. He was born the son of George and Christiana Habel Schuch on Marcch 27, 1866, at Wurtemberg, Germany. On May 31, 1891 at New York City he married Barbara Klingler who passed away February 19, 1940. Mr. Schuch was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Marion. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Emmet (Rose) Shaffer of Walker and Mrs. Oliver (Margaret) Grishaver of Central City; two sons, Charles of Marion and Albert of Central City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 1:30 P. M. Thursday, February 8, 1961, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Marion. CONDUCTED BY: Rev. E. L. Brandt. BEARERS: Walter Nietz, Jerry Akers, Lester Hindman, Harold Emig, Thomas Scoboda, and Charles Wassmer. MUSIC: Mrs. Alvin Haehlen, Mildred Haehlen and Mrs. Norman Fitzgerald. INTERMENT: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
