Rodney Dresner Elliott
Birth 16 OCT 1937 in Los Angeles, California
Death 30 JUL 2002 in Aptos, Santa Cruz, California, United States of America

Rodney died at home of pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his family.

Father: Mack Manley Elliott
Birth 1 DEC 1903 in Cass City, Tuscola County, Michigan, USA
Death 16 JAN 1946 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, USA

Mother: Leila Dresner b: 11 Mar 1906 in London, Middlesex, England

Rodney's father was a photographer and his mother was a movie star. His father died at a young age, leaving his mother to finish raising her children by herself. She may have married some time later in life. She was still single in 1957, I know.

In 1940 Rodney's father was working for Picker Studio as a film photographer. David and Arnold Picker, at one time, ran an off-shoot of United Artists film company. I believe "Max" Elliott probably worked for them before that time.

Rodney was a man with a great imagination. He married and had several children. I am sure they miss him dearly.

Note: Rodney's paternal grandfather was Herbert Truman Elliott
FAG #: 147628751.

His paternal grandmother was:

Nancy Ann Adeline (Cameron) Elliott
Birth 10 JAN 1867 in Port Huron, St. Clair Co., MI
Death 3 MAR 1958 in Glendale, Los Angeles Co., CA
FAG #: 85385792.

On his father's side, Rodney was a Mayflower descendant via
Pilgrim John Howland.
