Mrs. Tillie Reeves Haslet died at the home of her niece, Mrs. George C. Criswell, of 1033 Elk Street early this morning. She was one of the oldest residents of the city, and had many friends who respected her highly for her many traits of character. She was born in Philadelphia June 8, 1849.
She came to Franklin in her childhood and lived here since. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She married John C. Haslet who died eight years ago.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Mrs. Matilda Heasley Barnett and Mrs. Criswell of Franklin, Mrs. Paul B. Stewart of Warren, PA, Guy H. Heasley, Walter C. Heasley, J. Clarion Heasley, and Cyrus Siegfried Heasley, all of Franklin.
Services will be at the home of Mrs. Criswell Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Dr. William H. Orr, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
