Pat was born a daughter of the late Lloyd R. Nivens and Merle Lee Nivens. Anyone knowing Pat would be quick to realize she was a collector of all things. She had many friends and will be greatly missed by those she touched along her way. Her husband of twenty-six years, Herbert Pittsley, two daughters, Sherrie Barber Fryar and husband Alan of Wilmington, NC, and Sheila Barber Lee and husband Glenn of Deltona, FL; a brother, Bobby Nivens and very special sister-in-law, Maxine Nivens of Carolina Beach, NC; two grandchildren, Wesley Alan Fryar and Travis Lloyd Fryar; a niece, Lynn Prusa and husband Joe of Carolina Beach, NC; two great-nieces, Halyn and Bobbi; a special cousin, Sheila Hamacher; and a dear and special friend, Ann Martin of Carolina Beach; and her loving pet dog of ten years, Frances. A sister, Carolyn Nivens Barber preceded her in death. Pat died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center at age 68.
