Evelyn Marie (Kisecker) Baker age 79, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away September 28, 2015, at the Sanford Hospice Cottage.

She was born September 14, 1936, at Manhattan, Kansas. Her family moved to Sioux Falls when she was a child. She attended Bancroft, Whittier, Washington High School, and Hamline College.

She married the love of her life Condy G. Baker on June 20, 1958. Together they raised four children. She worked in dentistry for over 30 years and retired in 1992. She enjoyed fishing on the Missouri River, camping and spending time with her family. She was a member of Christ the King Church.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Condy Baker, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter Pam (Dennis) Benson, Sioux Falls, SD; sons Scott Baker, Sioux Falls, SD, Ron (Mary) Baker, Sioux Falls, SD, Andy (Karli) Baker, Parker, CO; sister Jean Hink-Boone, Lake Havasu, AZ; 7 grandchildren, Aaron, Brett, Corey, Travis, Sam, Jack, and Julia; 3 great-grandchildren, Alana, Sabrina, and Max; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents Andrew and Mabel Kisecker.

The family requests memorials directed to the Sanford Hospice Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will begin at 12 pm with the family present from 5 to 6:30 pm and a rosary beginning at 6:30 on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home Westside Chapel, 6200 West 41st Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 2, 2015, at Christ the King Parish with burial at St. Michael Cemetery.
