A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Cecil T. Leach, 84, who died in a Portland hospital Monday, April 22, 1996. He was a retired carpenter who worked for Logger Construction Co. in Portland.
He is survived by his wife, Dessolee, at home; two daughters, Fern Fredricksen and Shirley Wolf, both of Vancouver; one brother, Donald of Tigard, Ore.; one sister, Hazel Griswold of Tacoma; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mr. Leach, born April 15, 1912, in Arnett, Okla., and had lived in Vancouver since 1945. He was a member of the Moose and Masonic lodges, and a 50-year member of the Eagles Lodge.
His daughter, Martha Moore, died in February.
