Richard F. Mutchler, 89, formerly of Easton, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Weston Senior Living at Sullivan Trail. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Stem Mutchler.

Richard retired from Met-Ed where he worked for 40 years. He was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1944 and served with the US Naval Air Force during WWII. Richard was an avid basketball and softball player during the 50's and 60's. He volunteered at the YMCA, Easton, for over 20 years and at the Crayola Factory. He loved flower gardening. Later in life he played golf and tennis. He was a member of the Easton YMCA.

Surviving are two daughters, Vicki Rapp and her husband Kenneth, of Easton and Sandra McNeill, of Gaffney, SC; five grandchildren, Alex and Amanda Rapp, Christopher DeBias, Catie Mauldin and William McNeill; and six great-grandchildren, Alyssa DeBias, Hayden, Jackson and Olivia Rapp, Tyler and Tanner Mauldin. He was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Miller.

Graveside services with military honors will be performed at 11am Tuesday in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township.
