Warick Abram, Jr. was one of five children born to Warick Abram, Sr. and Lillian Hice Abram on December 17, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas and departed this life August 18, 2004. One son, Warick Abram, III, preceded him in death.

Warick attended the public schools in San Antonio and graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School in 1942. He was employed with Southern Pacific Railroad for 46 years and retired as top cook to the president of Southern Pacific. After retirement, Warick kept busy by working at the car wash on Rigsby until his health failed. He was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church where he also was baptized. Warick later moved his membership to Antioch Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. J. J. Rector and the present pastor, Rev. Dr. E. Thurman Walker whom he loved dearly.

Warick was united in Holy Matrimony to Alma Williams on December 13, 1972. A beautiful marriage was enjoyed for 32 years until he was called home.

Love beareth all things, hopeth all things, and endureth all things, the very essence of that love will remain in the hearts and minds of his loving family in which he leaves behind to cherish his memory, a devoted and loving wife, one sister, one brother, a son, three granddaughters, a grandson, two nephews, one cousin, and numerous dear friends.
