Cornelia Roberson Services Saturday From McCoy Baptist

Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelia Roberson, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday from McCoy Baptist church, 40th and McKinley avenue, with the Rev. J.R. Henderson delivering the eulogy.

Mrs. Roberson died Tuesday morning at her home, 1027 East 24th street. She had been confined to bed three weeks.

A resident of Los Angeles for a quarter century, she was past matron of Adah No. 3 Order of Eastern Star, a USO worker during the war, a member of Sojourner Truth and active in civic and religious activities. She was a member of Second Baptist church.

Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, with the Smith and Williams Funeral home in charge. Closest survivors include: Mrs. Henrietta Johnson, sister; Theodore Roberson, son; the Lear family and Hildred Johnson, nephew, all of Los Angeles.
