Pozie “Earl” Plaster, 86, of Stuart, Va. died on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.
He was born August 12, 1929 to the late Elsie Goard and Everett Minter Plaster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Plaster; numerous brothers and sisters; and one grandchild, Katina Ellen Plaster.
He was a member of Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from the furniture factories in Martinsville and Stuart, Va.
Surviving are one daughter, Marsha Hylton and husband Mark of Stuart; one son, Gary Plaster and wife Debra of Stuart; two grandchildren: Lori Haden and Kasi Thompson; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren: Nikki and Ryon Hylton.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Norris Funeral Services Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Jack Foley and Dr. Marion Poythress officiating. Burial will be in Providence Community Cemetery with military rites by Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Chapel.
