MARIANNA (Special) - Funeral services were held Saturday at Maddox Funeral Home Chapel for James B. Daffin, 59, native of Marianna, who died in the Veterans Hospital at Montgomery, Ala.

Officiating will be the Rev. M. A. DuRant of the First Presbyterian Church and burial will follow in Dykes Cemetery with Maddox in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emmie Daffin of Atlanta; three daughters, Mrs. Clarence T. White of Crestview, Mrs. Don Jenkins of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Larry Webber of Atlanta; one son, James B. Daffin Jr.; his mother, Mrs. W. R. Daffin Sr., of Marianna; six sisters, Mrs. J. D. McBride of Leesburg, Ga., Mrs. T. C. Luster of DeLand, Mrs. O. L. Chatwood, Mrs. J. M. Standland and Mrs. A. L. Bass of Marianna, and Mrs. L. L. Bethea of Leesburg, Fla.; four brothers, Charlie Daffin of Freeport, Joe Daffin of Panama City and W. B. Daffin Jr. and Horace E. Daffin of Marianna.
