She was born April 19, 1901, in Gove County to Charles and Susie (McCoid) Benson.
She married Andrew Anderson on July 24, 1920, in Scott City. He died May 7, 1974. She was a homemaker and a lifetime area resident. She has lived in the Oakley Manor since 1989. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Gove, the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Charles, Oakley and Richard, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Leona Wood, Katy, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph and Andrew Jr.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Gove, with the Rev. Allen Lee Phillips officiating; burial in the Gove Cemetery.
