Andrew Anderson was born Dec. 25, 1888 in Dalarne Sweden the son of Eric and Bertha Anderson. He died at the Gove Co. Hospital Quinter, Kansas. He immigrated with parents to Clay Center, Kan. In 1892 the family moved to a homestead in Gove Co. in what is known as the Plum Creek area. He was married to Helen Benson July 24, 1920 at Scott City, Kansas. They moved to Gove where he operated a garage until 1940. He continued to farm until a few months before his death. As a boy he was baptized in the Swedish Luthern Church. In 1953 he became a member of the Gove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. A son Ralph and a grandson Mike. Survivors are his wife Helen, a daughter, Leona Wood, 3 sons, Andrew J.(Bud) Charles and Richard. Also a sister Anna Roemer.
