GRINNELL -- John Judson'Jud' Barclay III, 87, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at the Hays Medical Center.
He was born June 29, 1910, in Grinnell to John Judson and Mary (Royer) Barclay II.
He married Adeline F. Wesley on May 21, 1938, in Wilson. He was a farmer and lifetime area resident. He served 20 years on the Soil Conservation Service, Gove. He was a member of the Oakley Masconic Lodge and the Beta Theta Phi Fraternity.
Survivors include a brother; Royer C. Barclay, Lindsborg; and a sister, Elizabeth Martin, Sun City, Ariz.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Oakley Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Kelly officiating; burial in the Gove Cemetery.
