Deborah S. Schmidt, 61, of Grain Valley, MO passed away following a long battle with cancer, Thursday, July 17, 2014 in North Kansas City, MO. Deborah was born May 21, 1953, the daughter of Gorden and Bonnie Dryden. In 1977 she was united in marriage to Ronald Schmidt and he survives of the home. Debbie was a Registered Nurse for 38 years. She enjoyed nursing and caring for people. She also enjoyed following her youngest daughter's softball years, and she liked watching soap operas. She loved spending her spare time with her grandchildren and their activities. She was preceded in death by her parents, and mother-in-law, Louise.
