Mrs. Julia M. Sartwell, 93, of the Hamilton Nursing Home, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday in the Dirksen House.
She was born in Alton, and was a resident of San Bernardino, Calif. for 35 years before moving to Springfield in 1973.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Edward Lawson in 1938 [sic] and by one son.
Surviving are one son, Lester E. Lawson of Springfield; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Cora Williams of Long Beach, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in the Church of the Little Flower with the Rev. Henry Kozak officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
