Vivian Eileen Allison, age 84, of Gallipolis, died Saturday Sept. 26, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice in Huntington. Born October 2, 1930 in Walnut Township, Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. and Goldie Allison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother, Roger Burke Allison.
Ms. Allison lived in Michigan for several years and also in Washington, D.C. where she worked as a transcriptionist. After retirement she moved back to her home on Portsmouth Road in Gallipolis.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Neal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to services.
