Marie Laidlaw – of Listowel, passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Friday September 25, 2015 at the age of 55. Marie was a former leader and Commissioner of the Girl Guides of Canada. She enjoyed playing many kinds of scratch tickets.
Beloved wife of Rick Thompson. Loving mother of Anne Laidlaw and Shawn Lawson, Gail Laidlaw and Justin Masson, Jamie and Amanda Laidlaw. Blessed grandma of Emma, Lily, Oliver, Hunter, Carley, Hannah, Brennen, Kaylie, Parker, Shaymus. Missed by her step children Ryan, Shawn and Laura, and step grandchildren Pheonix, Zack and Brooklyn. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Wayne and Karen Rea, Jean and Marty Ambedian and Louise Rea. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and the Thompson and Laidlaw families.
