Galva,Illinois, August 5- (Argus News Service) - Bert Sewell,65, died about 3:30 o'clock Sunday morning at his home in Centerville community, south of Walnut Creek, following a year's illness of heart trouble. He had been critically ill about three weeks.
Albert Henry Sewell was born May 2,1875 in Kewanee, a son of Thomas and Margaret Sewell. He resided in Galva many years, moving to a small farm which he purchased south of Galva,19 years ago. He erected a small grocery store on his place, which he operated.
As a boy he was a member of the Methodist church here.
Surviving are the widow, the former May Wolven of Wyanet, a foster son,Albert Gearhart, and two sisters, Mrs. Amos Barnes and Miss Nelle Sewell,all of Galva.
Funeral services will be at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Sundquist funeral home,Galva, the Rev. James Boyer,pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church,officiating. Burial will be in Galva cemetery.
