Russell Paul Warsing, 77, of New Castle, passed away the evening of October 3, 2015 at West Penn Hospital. Born on May 7, 1938 in North Beaver Township, PA, he was the son of the late George H. and Margaret L. Shaner Warsing. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of over 56 wonderful years, the former Shirley Grimm, whom he married on November 15, 1958.

Russell retired after 39 years of service as an operator for PA American Water. He also served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Clifton Flat Alliance Church and was also a former member of the Eagles Lodge 455 and Moose Lodge 51. Russell was an avid reader who loved doing crossword puzzles, woodworking, and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by his children, Cynthia Ann Ellermeyer and husband Jeffrey of Summerville, SC and Russell Edward Warsing and wife Cynthia of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers, Robert A. Warsing of New Castle and William E. Warsing of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Ryan, Sara, and Adam Warsing, Jaran Ellermeyer, and Cara Hawkins; and great-grandchild, Amelia May Hawkins.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jared Mills of Clifton Flat Alliance Church.

Interment will take place in Savannah Cemetery.
