"Bessie Donald
THREE OAKS - Mrs. Bessie Ross Donald, 85, formerly of Three Oaks, died Sunday at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, Fla. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Connelly-Noble Funeral Home, Three Oaks, where friends may call one hour preceding the service. The Order of Eastern Star Chapter 209, of which she was a member, will conduct rites at the funeral.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Donald was born Aug. 12, 1904, in Burlington, Iowa. She moved from this area to Florida in 1966. She was a retired clerk for the Veterans Administration. Her first husband, Earl Ross, preceded her in death in 1968, and her second husband, Harry Donald, preceded her in death in 1984. Survivors include: one daughter; Mrs. Delores Chapman of North Fort Myers; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three Portland, Ore., Robert Dilsaver of Burlington, Iowa, and Frank Dilsaver of Glenview, Ill."
