Myrtle Clement Baugus died Wednesday, Dec. 26,1990 at Hardin Home Nursing Home at the age of 83. She was a native of Hardin County, the daughter of the late Thomas Isom and Ellen Gifford Clement. She was married to Clarence Baugus, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Baugus was a retired employee of Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Services were Friday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hermon Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Tucker of Savannah; one step-daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Cutberth of Memphis, three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one step-great-granddaughter.
