Betty M. Roberts, age 79, of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 in the comfort of her home.
Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Waltz, MI on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:00 am. She will lie instate from 9:00 am until time of service. Rev. Dr. Kurt S. Taylor will officiate the service. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township, Michigan.
Born on March 28, 1936 in Huron Township, Michigan, she was the daughter of Frederick and Willa Mae (Hicks) Briese.
Betty was employed with Meijer as a Cashier until retiring.
She was a Graduate of Flat Rock High School class of 1954.
Betty was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed painting, arts, crafts, squaring dancing, walking and was a fan of the Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Salliotte; brother, William; and 3 sisters, Emma Jean, Debra J. and Denise J.
Surviving is her son, Ricky (Tiffany) Roberts of Pembroke Pines, FL; grandson, Logan Cooper of Pembroke Pines, FL; 4 step-children, Alice (Curtis Helzer) Little, John (Chey) Little, Brenda (Frank) Fenbert and Joe (Kathy) Little; 12 step-grandchildren; Nancy Little, Matt (Lisa) Little, Derrick (Sherry) Little, Michael Little, Jeff (Emily) Fenbert, Billy (Brittany) Fenbert, Robbie Fenbert, Stephanie Fenbert, Elizabeth Fenbert, Kattie Little, Amanda Little and Lucas Little; 7 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers, James (Gloria) Briese and David (Annette) Briese; 2 sisters, Barbara (Harold) Newson and Diane (Thomas) Crossman.
