Mr. Logan Barnett, a prominent resident of this county, died in the government hospital at Dayton, Ohio, August 7. He was a World War veteran and had many friends in this county. He is survived by his father, Mr. William Barnett of Harlan; his wife, Mrs. Rachel Minton Barnett of Haynes; three sons, James, William, and John L.; three daughters, Mabel, Veda, and Louise, all of Haynes; one brother, Delbert Barnett of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Mrs. Cora McDouthitt of Harlan and Mrs. Grace Ashton of Peoria, Illinois. The funeral service was at the late residence at Haynes Sunday, Rev. D. Richardson officiating. Interment was in the Charles Haynes cemetery. Many friends sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
