Kenneth "Tedo" W. Evans, 64, of St. Joseph, died Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Mosaic Life Care.
Born at home, August 9, 1951, in St. Joseph, and lived all his life here. He was of the Christian faith.
Tedo worked as a laborer. He loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren, spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and was a comedian who loved to make people laugh.
Tedo was preceded in death by: his parents, Richard and Alys Evans; sisters, Marilyn Evans, Terry Evans, JoAnn Meeks, Diane Whitten, Sharon Thompson and Tammy Evans.
Surviving sons include Shadow (Lindsay) Evans, and Shy (Laura) Chandler, both of St. Joseph; siblings, Richard "Buzz" (Sandy), Carl (Jean), Kevan (Dana), Danny, Mike (Shelly), Tony and Troy (Laura) Evans; sister, Alice (Larry) Gaunt; five grandsons, Noah Campbell, Shayd Chandler, Tytan Chandler, Cash Evans and Crue Evans, all of St. Joseph; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Graveside inurnment to follow immediately at Corder Cemetery, Troy, Kan. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
