Isabel Balcom, 98, of Scituate Vista Drive, an occupational therapist at Monson State Hospital, Monson, Mass., for many years before retiring in 1958, died yesterday at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre.
She was the wife of the late Everett C. Balcom Sr.
Born in Monson, she was a daughter of the late David and Mary (Kirkpatrick) Broadfoot. She had lived in Cranston 10 years.
Mrs. Balcom was a member of the Monson Historical Society and a member of the Church of the Messiah, Providence.
She is survived by two daughters, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Isabel Angell, Everett C. Balcom Jr., Stewart L. Balcom and Robert R. Balcom.
