Lawrence "Larry" Charles Klopotic, 95, of Green Bay, passed away on October 8, 2015.He was born on September 25, 1920 to the late Frank & Helen (Adamski) Klopotic.Larry was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps where he proudly served his country during WWII.He married Mary Van Laarhoven on May 8, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They were blessed to celebrate 64 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on June 13, 2012.Larry was a lifelong member at St. Joseph Catholic Church.He enjoyed feeding birds and taking care of his beloved Kitty Kat. In his young years, he was a composer and a musician; he played the piano, accordion and violin. He was an artist and enjoyed painting.Larry was a very practical person who helped solve people's problems. He also had a sense of humor and brought many smiles and laughter to the people around him. His family will miss him greatly. Survivors include his children, James Klopotic and Kathleen (Mark) DeNoble; grandchildren, Jeffrey Klopotic, Jeremy (Yadira) Klopotic, Jenny Klopotic, Adam DeNoble, Amber (Michael) Hall; great-grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) La Plante, Dyson Klopotic, Vianka Klopotic, Wesley DeNoble-Winkel, Milo Hall and an additional great-grandchild on the way; and great-great granddaughters, Rori Marie and Briana Elizabeth La Plante; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sister, Lucille (Harry) Sadler; and brother, Bernard (Dorothy) Casey.Visitation will take place on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1224 12th Avenue, from 10:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am with Rev. Don Everts officiating. Interment will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
