K. Eileen (Maroney) Remillard, 90, of Franklin, died March 14 in the Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur A. “Sonny’ Remillard who died in 2013.

Born in Milford, October 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Vincent and Catherine (Whalen) Maroney, Mrs. Remillard was a lifelong Franklin resident.

She was a 1942 graduate of Franklin High School where she was a cheerleader.

Mrs. Remillard was the Assessor for the Town of Franklin for many years.

She had also worked at Wrentham Developmental Center, and for Mass Electric.

Eileen enjoyed going to yard sales, reading and attending family gatherings.

She is survived by her children, Michael Remillard of Grand Lake Stream, Maine, Kathleen Blanchard and her husband William of Franklin, Wilfred Remillard and his wife Kathleen of Harwich, Mary Lomberto and her partner David Wood of Bellingham, Anne Rohnstock and her husband James of Medfield and Richard Remillard and his wife Yvonne of Franklin.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, William, Kerri, Brian, Nicole, Jason, Kate, Emma, Alex, Linnea and Sophie and her great-grandchildren, Caroline, Robert, Jacqueline, Jake and Alden.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 18 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 Cummings Park, Suite 3400, Woburn, MA 01801.
