Funeral Mass for Rose Kubischta, 93, of Cambridge, MN, formerly of Dickinson, ND will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dickinson.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Rosary and Vigil Services at 7:00 p.m.

Rose passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at Grandview Nursing Center in Cambridge, MN.

Rose Wendel was born December 5, 1913 in Dunn County, North Dakota to Anton and Mary (Blotz) Wendel. She attended school in South Heart through the 8th Grade. She was a housekeeper for many years at different businesses. She married James V. Kubischta on May 29, 1934 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson. In 1996, James and Rose moved to Cambridge, MN and has resided there since. She was a member of St. Ann’s Altar Society and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was also active in RSVP. Rose loved to bake – especially cookies, with each one perfectly shaped. She fished in her younger years with James. She enjoyed crocheting and completed many puzzle and word find books.

Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley (Eugene) Braun, Cambridge, MN, Kathleen (George) Hennessy, Onamia, MN; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Amy McFarland, Billings, MT.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, James; four sisters, Mary Aman, Celia Kostelecky, Francis Parker and Theresa Hieb.
