Mr. Aubrey Benjamin “Ben” Sampler, age 55 of Barnesville, passed away on October 9, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Sampler was born November 2, 1959 in Griffin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Aubrey Cyrus Sampler and Connie Sue Kelley Johnson. Ben was a 23-year veteran of the United States Navy. He was a respiratory therapist with the Houston Medical Center.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Denise Sampler of Barnesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Edmond Farrell of Tampa, Florida, Ginger and Jackie Orr of Chesapeake, Virginia, Jill and Ben Holloman of Roanoke, Virginia; mother and step-father, Connie Sue and Garnie Johnson; half-brothers, Kelley Johnson of Spring Hill, Florida and William Tidwell of Miami, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Aubrey Benjamin “Ben” Sampler will be on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11:00am in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Ricky Shepherd will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
