Sister Maria Consolata, OP, (Antoinette Sceusa) is the daughter of Francesco (Frank) Sceusa and Catarina Catalano.

Antoinette entered the cloistered Dominican Sisters of the Perpetual Rosary in Buffalo, New York, being given the religious name of Sister Maria Consolata. Sister Consolata later transferred to the daughter house of the Buffalo Monastery -- the Monastery of Mary the Queen in Elmira, New York.

The Monastery of Mary the Queen, Elmira, New York is a daughter house of the Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary of Buffalo, New York, which in turn was founded from the Monastery of Union City, New Jersey, the first American foundation of the established branch of the Perpetual Rosary Sisters in Bonsecoeur, Belgium, in 1880.
