LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Vern Clifford Prince, 67, of Livermore, died Saturday in Valley Care Medical Center, Pleasanton.

He retired as an auditor from the University of California regents; a former employee of CSX Corp. in Baltimore and AMP Inc. in Swatara Twp., Pa.; a graduate of the University of Tennessee; a Navy veteran; and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Rotary Club, Susquehannock Power Squadron, Livermore American Legion Post 47, Pleasanton American Legion Post 237 and Livermore-Pleasanton Elks Lodge 2117.
