On the 1900 US Federal census, Mrs. William H. Baskette (daughter-in-law of John H. and Matilda Baskette) stated that she was the mother of 5 children, only 3 of whom were still living. Willie's birth does not conflict with any of those 3, and he/she was most likely W. H. and Lena Copeland Baskette's child (WH and Lena were married in April 1878).
