This was in the newspaper when my brother was born:
Joseph Scott Stoffel became the first new resident of Jackson County in the New Year.
Born at 8:42 P.M. Tuesday (January 1 1980) at Jackson General Hospital. Joseph Scott is the son of Howard and Linda (Southall) Stoffel of Sandyville
The Proud father reports that the baby who weighed 9 pounds, 8 1/2 ounces, and his mother are both doing fine.

My brother joey to those who knew him they knew that my brother had a big heart so full of love. My brother and I was very close and even though I was
12 years older then him We were always close. I remember when I first got married in 1986 Joey was only 6 years old and when I moved out he
cried and he did not want me to go. He called me and wanted me to come home I tried to explain to him that I could not and at that time I had a big
Teddy Bear I told him to go get it out of my room and sleep with it and when he feels like he is going to cry hug the teddy bear and think of me.

Here is another story
There was this time when my kids were out in the building and next thing I know. Karen (my daughter) went running and left Jeffery (my son) in the building well she came in the house and said mom there is a snake in the building. I said where is Jeffery. Well she said I left him in there with the snake. Well then here came my son he said mommy Karen left me in there with a snake and she did not even tell me there was a snake there until I looked over and seen it. Well I called my brothers Trey and Joey well they was at my house in no time which at that time we only lived maybe 5 miles away. Well here is my brother Trey he has gun in his hand.(Trey Terrified of Snakes) Well my brother Joey goes into that building like he was not afarid of nothing, Here Joey is taking this big long meatal pole and trying to get that snake to come out from under the table. Oh boy did he
get him out that snake was very mad and it came out from under that table and raised up on its tail. Well then here is Joey he took that metal pole and wacked it a good one then he grabed a shovel and killed him. Then Joey brought the snake outside my brother Trey (very Terrified of snakes) made sure it was dead so he shot it he said that is to be on the safe side.

My brother Joey broke his wrist while horsing around at lunch time in high school. Well someone threw him a football and he was wearing cowboy boots and it had been raining so he caught the ball alright then landed on his wrist and broke it. Well my mom and I were in Dollar General we heard the ambluance going by to go to the hospital. Both me and mom had a weird feeling about that ambulance. Then just a few minutes later my other brother Trey calls the store we are at and says we need to get over to the hospital because the school called and said Joey broke his wrist. It was so odd that me and mom had that feeling about that ambulance like we just had a feeling we knew who was in that ambulance. Well we got over to the hospital and sure enough he broke it good. He had to have surgery done on it. Well they had to put staples in and a cast. Oh everybody was telling him it was going to hurt when they pull those staples out. You should have seen his face when the doctor took off the cast. His eyes got so big like I know this is going to hurt when they take all those staples out. Well who ever told him it was going to hurt they lied. He said it only hurt for a second. But he was so afarid that it was really going to hurt bad.
