Ashley Nichole Skidmore, age 23, of Tallahassee, Florida, daughter of Sylvia Roper of Tallahassee and Rick Skidmore of Atlanta, died Saturday, August 12, 2006, from Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Ashley attended Leon High School and graduated from Lively Academy in May of 2001. She was attending North Florida Cosmetology Institute when she became ill. She was loved by so many and will be so very missed. She is survived by her sisters, Courtney and Lindsey Skidmore. She is also survived by her mother, Sylvia Roper and stepfather, Jim Dunn; father, Rick Skidmore and stepmother, Shana Skidmore; sisters, Skylar and Lilyanne; grandfather, Max Roper and step grandmother, Sandra Roper; grandparents, Kay and Paul Skidmore; aunts, Michelle Herring, Cyndi Roper, Laura Murney, Susy Roper, Brenda Rivera; uncles, Mike Roper, Ron Roper, John Roper, H.T. Herring, and Tito Rivera; cousins, Cathy Lynn, Matthew Julia, and Lauren Roper, Kellon and Shannon Johnston-Roper, Tiffany and Matthew Brown; stepsisters, Joy Burks, Tracy Pickett, Christy Williams, and Jamie Dunn; nieces and nephews, Blake, Jordan and Taylor Burks, Ethan and Presleigh Pickett, Zane, Alix, and Brianna Williams, Eric, Jessica, and Frank Dunn; godchildren, Erika, Derek, and Amelya Thomas. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m.Wednesday, August 16, 2006, in Christian Heritage Church with interment in Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.
