Graveside services will be held Saturday at the East Line Street Cemetery for Wanda L. Mitchell, 90, a Bishop resident for the past 31 years and co-funder of Bishop's Allied Senior Citizen's Club in 1970. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Ashland, Oregon May 9, 1901 and died July 10, 1991 at Northern Inyo Hospital. She was a member of the Gem & Mineral Club, Garden Club, Camera Club and played in the Senior's Silly Symphony. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen, and husband Warren Falser of Reno; son Lorin and wife Esther Works, Fair Oaks; daughter-in-law Doris Works of Carmichael, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Robert Brittsan, Lake Isabella, Arthur Brittsan, Los Angeles, and Anna Collester, Moses Lake, Washington. She was preceded in death by her son, Byron Wendell Works.
