Reverend Barbara Lusk-Bailey, 76, of Cyclone, WV, went to her heavenly home on Monday, October 12, 2015 following a long illness. Her devotion and love for God gave her peace. Barbara loved God and enjoyed praying. There was a special room in her home known as the prayer room where war was declared on the devil. Many healings and miracles took place in that room. She spoke of those memories often. She was a founder and dedicated member of the Cyclone Church of God for 49 years. She began her ministry work in 1973 and became an ordained minister in 1976. She was blessed with a large and loving family.

She was born on February 23, 1939 in Cyclone, WV, a daughter of the late Sebert "Wayne" Lusk (1916-1974) and Alene Edna Osborne-Lusk (1921-2004). In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Donnie "Dooney" Earsel Bailey (1936-Deceased) whom she married on September 30, 1953 in Hatcher, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1953, Page 487, Application Date: September 26, 1953); a son, Ricky Bailey (Deceased); a grandson, Larry Dale Fields, Jr. (1980-2015); two brothers, Rev Emory Loren "Dale" Lusk, Sr. (1941-2012) and James Lusk (Deceased); two sisters, Margaret Jean Lusk-Bailey (1956-2015) and Velma Glee Lusk-Workman (1944-Deceased); and a son-in-law, James Robinette, Jr. (Deceased).

Those left here who love and miss her dearly are her three daughters, Sandra Bailey-Fields & husband Larry Fields of Whitman, Sheryl Bailey-Robinette and Marlene Bailey-Miller & husband Timmy Bailey-Miller all of Cyclone; three sons, Orville Lee Bailey (1954-2020) of Cyclone, Jimmy Bailey & wife Rita Bailey of Matheny and Donnie Earsel Bailey Jr. (1959-2017) & Barbara Elkins-Bailey of Cyclone; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four sisters, Patsy Lusk-Lusk (B. 1945) & Larry Lusk, Kathlene "Sharon" Lusk-Lusk (B. 1950) & Argel Lusk, Loretta Mae Lusk-Harvey (B. 1947) and Judy Lusk-Osborne & Tommy Osborne all of Cyclone; two brothers Leslie Lusk (B. 1941) of Cyclone and Paul Lusk & Naomi Lusk of Curtis; a close nephew Chris Lusk of Cyclone; and a host of other loving family and friends.
