Donna was born on October 2, 1931 in Lansing, MI and was a graduate of Sexton High School. She was married to Harold in 1954 and worked for Oldsmobile before becoming a housewife and mother. Donna volunteered for the American Cancer Society for 30 years; she was a member of the Eagles Aerie 1039 Women's Auxiliary. Her favorite times were at the lake with her family watching fireworks and playing games.
Donna was also known for her love of traveling to casinos playing the penny and nickel slots with her friends. She especially enjoyed going to Lugnuts games with her dear friend Thelma Black.
Donna is survived by her sister and brother, her son, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. [survivor information edited].
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Harold Patrick (of 57 years), parents Myron and Vivian Humphrey, and daughter-in-law Donna Mae Patrick.
Donna touched many lives and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday June 9th from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw in Lansing. A memorial service honoring Donna will also take place Sunday (7pm) hosted by the Eagles Women's Auxiliary. Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday the 10th at 1:00p.m. with Pastor Michael Geiger of Bath Lakeside Chapel as the officiate. Contributions may be made to Sparrow's Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or the American Cancer Society in memory of Donna Jean.
