Dr. Abrams, who lived in Bethesda, was born in Baltimore. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Forces in the China-Burma-India theater. He received a Distinguished Flying Cross.
After the war, he settled in Washington. He graduated from the University of Maryland and the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. He began practicing dentistry in Kensington and later relocated to Bethesda, where he practiced until his death.
Survivors include his wife of Bethesda; two sons; and two grandchildren.
